SICK’s 3D cameras include integrated software that provides access to 3D data, MultiScan images, camera configuration tools, and camera control functions. This allows users to develop their own applications.  In addition, SICK works with machine vision software vendors to offer direct camera control and data access in a range of off-the-shelf software packages.
Vision software libraries with C or C++ interfaces can also be used together with SICK’s iCon API for application development in MS Visual Studio, for example.

Halcon

SICK’s 3D cameras are natively supported by Halcon software. The interface supports all SICK 3D cameras (ColorRanger E, Ranger C/D/E and Ruler E), and includes support for MultiScan, color, calibration, and camera control. The interface is maintained and provided by MVTec. More information can be found at their web site.

LabVIEW

The 3D cameras can be integrated with LabVIEW using the 3D camera Toolkit. The Toolkit supports Ruler E and Ranger E/D including support for MultiScan, calibration, and camera control. Limited support for ColorRanger (no color channel registration). The interface is maintained and provided by SICK and can be downloaded for free from our support pages.

Scorpion Vision Software

Our 3D cameras are natively supported by Scorpion vision software. The 3D camera interface supports Ruler E and Ranger E/D, including support for MultiScan, calibration, and camera control. The interface is maintained and provided by Tordivel. More information can be found at their web site.

Vision Pro

The 3D cameras can be integrated with VisionPro via the 3D camera Adapter. The Adapter supports Ranger E/D for 3D and MultiScan measurements without calibration. Limited support for ColorRanger (no color channel registration). The Adapter is maintained and provided by SICK and can be downloaded for free from our support pages.
