In Safexpert the route through the Machinery Directive is prepared in a structured form. Directives are included with full text and links provided. When standards or directives change, SICK updates the software to suit the new requirements and makes available an update. You can update program and projects conveniently and in accordance with the directives. The software automatically transfers all your entries to the relevant reports. Status and filter functions ease the overview.

The StandardManager is the optimal tool for managing standards, directives and laws:

• Clear search and filter functions
• Simple checking that the list of standards in Safexpert projects is up to date
• Can be used independent of Safexpert

In combination with the data packages:

• Optimal overview of the status of the standards and directives
• Library data on status, transition periods, predecessors, successors, legal principles, etc.
• There are links to the full text of the directives.
• Regular data package updates (internet connection required)

Using the operating instructions assistant (OIA) you can transfer measures from the hazard analysis directly to the relevant overviews or instructions (Microsoft Word) and update automatically. Your documentation is produced faster, is always complete and remains up to date.

Using the check and acceptance assistant (CAA) you can thoroughly check the machine for compliance with the requirements in a structured manner.
