Bulkscan LMS511 - Non-contact and maintenance-free sensor for measuring volume flow
|
The Bulkscan LMS511 uses time-of-flight technology for non-contact measurement of volume flow on conveyor belts. Aside from calculating volume and mass flow, the Bulkscan can monitor the operation of the conveyor belt, the integrated center-of-gravity calculator can be used to detect uneven loading of the bulk material.
Non-contact measurment of volume and mass flow of bulk material
Laser pulses with high angular resolution ensure outstanding image resolution
5-echo pulse evaluation produces highly reliable measurements
Robust structure for harsh ambient conditions
Can also measure at low temperatures thanks to integrated heater

Bulkscan–
|
the measuring system for belt conveyors
The Bulkscan system measures volume throughput of any bulk materials on conveyor belts.
Scan and measure volumes with the rugged Bulkscan laser scanner – wherever the bulk material is transported via conveyor belt. Belt utilisation is monitored and optimised –also saving energy and cutting loading time.
- Exact measurement of volume and evaluation of the balance point on the conveyor
- Continuous and contact free measurement
- Laser scanner is mounted over the conveyor belt, no parts touch the product
- Conversion from volume to mass or density possible
