VISTAL™
With the VISTAL™ housing concept the W9-3 achieves for a plastic housing extraordinary robustness and leak proofness. Even just like steel.
Thereby the concept is based on three key facts:
- Inside-Out-assembling
- High strength fiber glass reinforced plastic
- High strength adhesive
High strength fiber glass reinforced plastic: The VISTAL™ plastic was developed with the objective to have a chemical resistant and light material to replace metal. In comparison to standard plastics VISTAL™ achieves significant better mechanical strength properties: + 900 % E-modul ISO 527, + 400 % Brinell hardness ISO 2039-1.
Opto-ASIC
The new Opto-ASIC with digital signal processing provides maximum performance and interference immunity, besides enhanced operating and communication convenience.
- Digital instead of analog: more accurate adjustment, minimized tolerances, and stable switching points
- integrated IO Link communication: easy and economical communication solutions with automation systems
- FIR filter technology (finite pulse response) : stable switching point despite of ambient light interferences like e.g. energy-saving lamps
