Small design for a measurement length of up to 4 m – for many applications that require linear position detection, the TTK70 is the ideal solution. It delivers convincing performance due to its high degree of process dynamics, particular reliability even in harsh operating conditions, as well as easy, space-saving installation into the respective machine.
Maximum fieldbus flexibility
Featuring the interface adapter modules for Profibus, DeviceNet, and CANopen, the TTK70, as the smallest device of its kind, offers optimum integration into the control system of a machine or plant. The modules not only permit various connection options but if required, they can be changed without replacing the encoder. Due to the SinCos output, users opting for the version with SSI interface benefit from the real-time capability of the TTK70.
More compact is impossible
The TTK70 consists of a reading head and an absolute coded magnetic tape, 10 mm in width and up to 4 m in length, that serves as a measurement scale. The rugged metal housing of the reading head, including the plug connection, is barely bigger than a matchbox, currently making it the smallest system with fieldbus interface on the market.
Offers high degree of process dynamics
For the TTK70, not only are the dimensions limited to the essentials, but so is net weight. In this way, in any given operating scenario, e.g. on a linear axis, the encoder minimizes the additional mass to be accelerated or decelerated, thus making a high degree of process dynamics achievable – especially since the admissible travel speeds have been designed high enough to match.
