Whether in production plants, on stationary conveyor systems, or in picking areas and distribution centers, the RFU630 is an ideal solution for detecting objects labeled with transponders in goods flows. As a result of its compact design, the read-write system can be installed rapidly, easily and in restricted spaces. If necessary, up to three additional external antennae can be connected in order to generate a combined result.
Configuration takes place using the SOPAS parameterization tool with its auto-ID function. Application-specific software can be integrated in the reader. Up to three external antennae can be connected, in addition to the integrated antenna. Integrated digital inputs, e.g. for a trigger photoelectric sensor, can be flexibly parameterized to control particular actions. Freely definable outputs can be used, for example, to display read results or to control actuators. The RFU630 is a member of the IDpro family and thus offers numerous integrated interfaces for connection to host systems (Ethernet, RS232/422/485, CAN, CANopen, etc.) as well as for system parameterization or diagnosis (Ethernet, RS232, USB). Fieldbuses that are not integrated (e.g. Profibus or Ethercat) can be addressed using external gateways. Function modules are also available, providing simple integration in fieldbuses.
The RFU630 has an intelligent set of useful integrated data-filtering and data-preparation functions for solving typical tasks, greatly simplifying adaptation to common tasks (Intelligence Inside).
Modular and future-orientedThe RFU630 offers flexible and economical use thanks to its modular concept. With its IDpro compatibility, the RFU630 can act within a network with neighboring technologies (bar codes, 2D), whereby standard accessories can be used. Transponders can be specifically selected for the application. In addition, the firmware can be updated, making the system adaptable to future developments – ensuring a high level of investment security.
