The new DDS36 and DDS50 series consists of optical incremental encoders in aluminium housings, used for positioning and speed measurement in factory automation. The DDS36 is available in blind hollow shaft and solid shaft versions. The blind hollow shaft allows simple and direct mounting on the motor shaft without the need for a coupling. The solid shaft designs, however, are also ideally prepared for use in applications with limited space and are available for selection from a complete product portfolio.
