SICK robot day 2012

The 4th SICK robot day will take place on saturday, October 6th, 2012 at the “Stadthalle” in Waldkirch, Germany. Invited are universities, academies and research institutions.

For the top three teams, whose vehicles perform the given task best, SICK AG will provide monetary awards.

Teams can apply for the latest SICK sensor >>TiM (the device will be available by the end of January 2012 in a modified version with data communication via USB interface). These sensors will be placed at the teams disposal on loan and the property passes when the team attends the robot day 2012 (donation receipt is mandatory). Generally, the type of the sensor technology used is not limited.

Schedule 

 

 
 
  • The area will open at 10 a.m.
  • From 11 a.m. until 1 p.m. the teams have the opportunity to perform practice runs on the course.
  • The competition starts at 2 p.m. (after lunch).

 

SICK provides full-time free food & beverage for all participants.
