With our decades of experience, the process automation division from SICK makes a key contribution to solving complex measurement tasks. It is thus with some pride that we look back on SICK products that have become industry milestones. As a pioneer of in-situ instrumentation, SICK began with the first electro-optic carbon-particulate monitors for environmental protection uses. In 1957 the company launched the first fog alert system for motorways and in 1982 the first flowrate meter based on ultrasound transit time methodology. Spectral photometersfor multi-component analysis under process conditions were also developed and have since become benchmark products.
