  1. This promotion is conducted by SICK Pty Ltd (ABN: 81006054468)

  2. SICK Pty Ltd will conduct this promotion from January 1st 2012 until March 31st 2012

  3. Entry into this promotion is deemed acceptance of these terms and conditions

  4. Employees of SICK Pty Ltd and/or their family members are not eligible to enter this promotion

  5. Distributors of SICK Pty Ltd are not eligible to enter this promotion

  6. Entry is open to all other existing and potential customers of SICK Pty Ltd and the participant has to be over 18 years of age to be considered as valid entry

  7. To be eligible to win the prize, the participant must have ordered five or more encoders of the DFS, DFV, or VFS range as part of one order. They must then visit www.sick.com.au or www.sick.co.nz and click on the link ‘PGT-10-S Five for One Promotion’ and fill out the form entirely. This means the form has to be complete, legible and comprehensible, and include the order number with which they have purchased the required number of encoders. Only those entries which fulfil the conditions of entirety will be considered as valid and will be accepted for the promotion

  8. Participants may request that the delivery of encoders from an order nominated for this promotion be spread out over different dates, and SICK may choose to accede to this request, however all items on the order will be invoiced when the first item is dispatched.

  9. Participants may enter the promotion only once with each valid order number and duplicate entries will be excluded from the promotion.

  10. All participants are eligible to enter into the promotion with subsequent and separate orders and those entries shall be considered as a new entry.

  11. SICK Pty Ltd will provide one free programming tool with every multiple of five encoders or greater, up to the next multiple of five encoders. E.g. If a customer orders nine encoders they will receive one programming tool. If a customer orders ten encoders, they will receive two programming tools.

  12. All entries will be deemed to be accepted at the time of processing. No responsibility will be taken by SICK Pty Ltd for lost or late entries

  13. All website entries will be downloaded into hard copies for checking of eligibility.

  14. Due to conditions of privacy SICK Pty Ltd will not mention or publish the names of the people or companies who take up this offer.

  15. Eligible participants will be notified as soon as practicable and shipment of the relevant number of programming tools will commence.

  16. SICK Pty Ltd is unable to offer warranty on goods that are distributed without invoice. As such, no warranty can be offered on the programming tools provided under this promotion.

  17. SICK Pty Ltd will not allow the programming tools provided under this promotion to be returned for a credit.

  18. SICK Pty Ltd will not allow the programming tools provided under this promotion to be exchanged for any other alternative reward.

  19. If SICK Pty Ltd is unable to run this promotion as planned, due to technical malfunction, infection by computer virus, bugs, tampering, unauthorised intervention, fraud, technical failure or any other cause beyond the company’s control, which corrupts or affects the administration security, fairness or integrity or proper conduct of this promotion, the company reserves the right to extend the duration of this competition/promotion.

  20. By entering this promotion, each entrant accepts full responsibility for the decision to participate in the promotion and take the prize should he/she be deemed eligible.

  21. All entries become the property of SICK Pty Ltd. The company will collect personal information about entrants to enable them to participate in the promotion and for the distribution of prizes.

  22. The personal information about the entrants collected during the competition might be used in future to contact them for purposes of promoting SICK products and/or service

  23. If the participant’s contact or personal details change during the course of this promotion, it is the participant’s responsibility to contact SICK Pty Ltd and inform us about the change

  24. SICK Pty Ltd does not accept any responsibility for any tax implications that may arise from the prize winning. Independent advice should be sought in this respect
